Home > Iberia > 2002 > ReviewTaken September 2002 from Brussels to Mexico CityFirst leg was BRU-MAD. Aircraft was a B757-200. Somewhat cramped seating, but not too bad for a 2 hour flight. Breakfast was served quickly. Some entertainment was shown on the overhead screens, in Spanish and English. Overall a relaxing flight and an on time arrival. Second leg was MAD-MEX. Aircraft was an (ageing) B747-300. When transferring at MAD, be prepared for long walks since the airport stretches far out and there are nearly no roll pads. Flight was delayed for 1.5 hours due to the late arrival of the incoming aircraft from Miami. The flight itself was nothing special, food was good, but not too many drinks were offered throughout the flight (none in fact). Entertainment was useless and the overhead TV's were switched on/off several times by the crew. Seating was OK, although one would always like to have some more legroom. A good thing about Iberia are their Latin America destinations: good connections at a really good prices! For the rest they offer little (nothing) special that makes them stand out... | ||
