Home > SriLankan Airlines > ReviewTaken December 2002 from Madras (Chennai) to Kuala LumpurNice flight from KUL-SIN-CMB-MAA, but the whole sector including 1 transit in CMB really takes a toll & is very tiring. However, thanks to the friendly cabin crew & superb inflight entertainment (back seat TV in Economy + the front & downward camera - never seen this on board any other airline), it was a great journey. Nice stopover at the Palm Village Beach Resort too on the way back to KUL. That's why I took Sri Lankan instead of Air India or Indian Airlines. Wide variety of food - Indian/Lankan style & Western style fits all. Only problem is the sales of Duty Free Shopping onboard aircraft. When I gave them SGD 50 for a purchase for USD12, they do not have any change... & to add to their embarassment, they start asking all passengers along my aisle for change in USD or any other currency... finally, almost 1 hour later & almost before landing at KUL, they found some change which is still short of USD 2. They apologised sincerely & with a smile :) still not that bad - take that as a tip. | ||
