Home > EasyJet > 2003 > ReviewTaken April 2003 from Inverness to LutonWhat a difference it makes to fly from a small regional airport (Inverness, Scotland). Check in was quick and simple, departures is on the same level and only a few metres away, instantly through security, and just another few paces into the departure lounge. Announcements of the incoming flight are hardly needed - the whole of the runway is visible from the departure lounge, and the aircraft noses in right up to the door (any nearer and the aircraft would be in the departure lounge). Aircraft (Boeing 737 G-EZYJ) came in early, but loaded and pushed back from stand about 5 minutes late. 4 minutes after pushback we were at 1000 feet over the fence and climbing (try that at Heathrow!). Arrived on stand at Luton 10 minutes early. Flight was fine, crew friendly, seating pitch adequate but not generous, but hardly matters on a short haul flight. Price with all taxes and extras paid was good value at £52 | ||
