Taken May 2003 from Flint Bishop to Orlando International

I flew Air Tran for the first time from Michigan to Florida and back. I knew about the whole mess with the airline being Valujet before, and the bad crash they had. I was somewhat scared to fly it, but pleasantly surprised when I did.

The ticket price was very reasonable. The jets themselves looked new and very clean. If they updated their fleet you can sure tell. The seats are comfortable, but the only complaint I had was that I felt like my legs were a little too cramped flying down. On the way back I had a seat just after first class, which had plenty of room.

The flight going and coming back was on-time! When the plane was in the air it was a smooth ride all the way. The airplane crew did their job well, but I felt like they could've been slightly more friendly. The pilots never said what altitude we were flying, or significant places we might be passing over, not that it is necessary, I just thought it was something they always did. Overall, I would definitely fly again if I needed to.
