Home > Egyptair > ReviewTaken April 2003 from London Heathrow to Abu Dhabi via CairoThis was quite a surprise. This was the first time I flew an Arab airline. I used this airline as it offered a competitive air fare. The aircraft used on the first leg of the flight to Cairo was B777. Ths seats were very wide and converted to beds. The service was excellent with a high crew to passenger ratio. One attendant kept on coming to ask me if I needed anything, which I appreciated. The food was great with a menu that offered wide ranging meals. The fligth itself was smooth and we arrived at CAI on time. There was a 2 hour wait before the final leg to Abu Dhabi. Boarding was on time, and again the first class seats were comfortable, even though it was a smaller aircraft, A320. There was a similar standard of service on this sector. We arrived in Abu Dhabi 10 minutes late but that was due to traffic at the airport. I really liked this airline and its air fare compared favourably with British Airways and Gulf Air, which were much more expensive even though the flights were direct. | ||
