Home > US Airways > 2003 > ReviewTaken June 2003 from Philadelphia to SeattleI am United Premier Executive and fly from my homebase in SEA to the assignment cities. For last 3 months that has been Philadelphia. I have always loved the UAL service despite the connection. Their Economy Plus seating is great, ch. 9 and free headsets make long flights short. This time I tried the non-stop on US Airways. Even though I arrived to the airport an hour before the flight, they managed to send my luggage to Pittsburgh instead of taking it from me and putting it in the non-stop SEA flight. The service is inferior to United. On a 6 hour flight the only food I have seen was a mini-turkey sandwich and some greasy potato chips. On a comparable flight, Philly to San Fransisco, United serves full meals. After a entire work day, being up 12 hours before the flight, you really look forward to something edible, and these cost cutting measures won't cut it. I will HAVE TO fly US Airways again, but I know that United's service is much better. | ||
