Just a short note for any passengers with disabilities thinking of travelling with Scandic Air.

My family and I travelled from Kos on Sunday 22/06/03. My daughter has a congenital heart defect and cannot walk distances, we take our wheelchair to the plane to board. And on every airline we have used in the past the chair is waiting on arrival at our destination.

On boarding the flight the staff were surly and unhelpful, on arriving at our destination in Manchester we enquired about our wheelchair and were informed it had been taken to the terminal with the rest of our luggage. The cabin crew then left my family and I on the tarmac with no wheelchair. Finally the Manchester ground crew came to our rescue and brought a wheelchair. The attitude of the cabin crew appalled and offended me. If Scandic Air would rather disabled passengers use another airline then I would appreciate being informed on booking. And not be subject to discriminatory procedures.
