Home > Olympic > ReviewTaken June 2003 from Athens to Paris CDGAn Airbus A-340 was serving the route on this day. Olympic has stopped flying some of the long-hauls and are now using their A-340's on busy European routes. The flight was only half full, and was, therefore, very comfortable. The personal seat-back video had 3 channels in operation one with real-time map and 2 with short videos about Greece. The meal was OK. The flight was very smooth and felt safe throughout, even during landing at CDG when we had to go-around due to the runway being occupied. No in-flight magazine. It is doubtful whether the savings from eliminating it outweigh the negative impressions and the loss of advertisement benefit. | ||
