All was well from Pasco to Seattle, but in Seattle we sat in the plane for an extra hour becuase of a "problem" with the door. Well after they fixed this "problem", amazingly about 70 people boarded the plane. It really bothered me that they kept us all on the plane, didn't offer us anything, because we waited for a plane to arrive so they could make the flight. A few minutes I could understand, but an hour? The flight was fine, food was good, as I always expect on Alaska. Coach seats are one of the best in the industry I think. I like American's the best. But Alaska's come in a close second. I fly Alaska Airlines all the time, and I love the airline, I think the staff are amazingly friendly and willing to help you in anyway possible. After reading all of the previous reviews it makes me wonder what happened. The only thing that I can think of is as follows: I work with the public and I know how rude people can be when they say they're "being polite" NO! you're not polite, you're being rude, and I know them, like myself, are not going to put up with rude customers. You can only be nice for so long. After that, the threats of going to another airline really don't bother them. They have enough business! Anyway. Got all the steam outa my way! I fly Pasco/Fairbanks almost monthly, and like I said, they have the friendliest staff, newest planes in the industry, and actual meals that TASTE like real food. They might be late (sometimes more than occasionally), but just realize that, and if you don't want to have to wait, then... maybe book your ticket on another airline. I would fly with this airline any day of the week at anytime. If I were you, I would ignore every other review by the people that say they are NOT frequent flyers, and let one little bad flight experience ruin everyone else's experience that read their story first. Alaska is a great airline with a great potential. I just hope your first experience with them is with a nice person. All of their staff aren't bad. There are just some bad ones out there!
