Check-in was quick, no queue, friendly ground staff.

Once at the boarding gate people started to get worried as by the time we were to be airborne, no plane was at the gate, no ground staff visible and all screens in that part of the airport were off. Much later we were told that due to a technical problem, the flight would be delayed as they were sending another aircraft from Toulouse to pick us up.

Two hours later and after having moved to different boarding gates three times, we were told that due to that technical problem, two flights would be grouped in one. The other flight was going to Perpignan.

To be short, our boarding passes were exchanged for new ones with a revised flight number, but with the same seat assignments. Passengers flying to Perpignan learned they would make an unexpected stop at Toulouse once the aircraft had started pushing back following a cabin crew anouncement. Great confusion, full load flight, ageing 737-300 in Aeris colours this time, dirty cabin, cramped seats...

Positive comments are that the flight was smooth, the pilot kept us informed with various details throughout the flight and the cabin crew were friendly.

Despite the big delay, not even a glass of water was offered to us cattle passengers.

The most frustrating about this flight was to see once again how budget airlines manipulate their passengers. In fact everything we were told about technical problems etc was pure lies. They just didn't want to fly two half-loaded aircraft, that's why they put both flights in a single 737. For that reason alone I will never fly Aeris Express again. Competition is stiff on the Paris to Toulouse route and I still have the choice between AF and EasyJet.
