As I was getting married in Cyprus, I had previously contacted air 2000 to ask if my wedding dress could be stored on the plane with the cabin crew, instead of in the hold. I was told that it would not be a problem. However, when I arrived at Manchester airport, the crew refused to take my wedding dress on board with them, and it ended up in the hold with all the suitcases!!

I was told by Air 200 that my dress would be carried off the plane and brought direct to me at Paphos airport. This did not happen, and my dress was on the conveyer belt with the suitcases and prams! The white bag which covered my dress had a couple of foot prints on! Very nice, considering it had cost over 800 pounds and had very delicate pearls and diamantees sewn to it.

I was not impressed with the cabin crews attitude either, to my 7 year old son who was suffering and crying with sore ears as we landed. They basically said there was nothing there could do about it.

The return flight however was much better. The cabin crew (a different one) agreed to take my wedding dress on board with them! They were much more helful, courteous and polite.

Not sure if I would fly with them again. Maybe at a push!
