Taken May 2003 from Milan Linate to Rome Fiumicino

Flew with them between Milan Linate and Rome Fiumicino because Alitalia was fully booked. Service OK, but not spectacular. The staff did their job well, but had nothing special, they smiled quite rarely. The food was not spectacular, but this was a short flight. At check-in there was a lady who was a bit too full of herself.

Boarding was smooth. In Rome the transfer was by bus and Europe Avia Services took ages to deliver the luggage. Funnily, on the plane they gave us a paper and there was an article about Euro Avia Services (100% owned by Air One) that said that it has very poor ramp handling equipment and few staff, and so could lose the license in Rome.

In conclusion, unless you have an FF program with one of the Air One's partners (Lufthansa, Air Littoral, main Star Alliance members), there is no point in taking this airline, Alitalia is better. Between Milan and Rome, Alitalia has up to 62 flights a day while Air One only 18, the price is approximately the same.
