Home > Air Canada > 2003 > ReviewTaken July 2003 from Vancouver, BC to Calgary, ABFor an airline that really gets a bad rap from everyone except non-Canadians, they really can come through for you, if you let them. I missed my return flight by about 5 minutes (the last flight of the day), and I managed to convince the ticketing agent to confirm me on the morning flight for, get this: Free. Not only did she book me on the morning flight for nothing, she offered to assist me with finding a hotel as well. This is a horrible airline that most of the country holds in contempt? All I did was treat her nice, apologise profusely and smile. It's amazing what a little bit of "nice-ness" will do... you get it back. I don't know how many checkin agents and flight attendants I have seen chewed out for a plane being a few minutes late, or not if they didn't get the right special meal. I think 90% of the population is a little confused about what an airline is. Have people forgotten that an airline companies job is only to get you from point "A" to point "B" safely? When I get on a plane, my main concern is getting to my destination. If I don't end up like ground hamburger on the side of a mountain, they are in my good books for sure. And I get a chips and a free glass of pop, too?! Sweet! | ||
