Taken June 2003 from Glasgow to Arrecife

Flight out was average, inflight entertainment was dire (if you were "lucky" enough to get headphones). The highlight was an early episode of Only Fools and Horses flickering between colour and black and white with the sound cutting in and out every so often. Seat spacing on the 757 aircraft was the "usual" satisfactory level.

The return flight, onboard a 767 aircraft, started with a child screaming for a window seat... on getting to our seats we discovered that the spacing was horrendus, not only were our knees jammed into the seat infront, but we had to sit at opposite angles (inducing back ache) as the seats were a good inch or two thinner than a 757 also.

Definitely the worst seat spacing ever experienced on an aircraft. Also the first time I've ever been "knee-capped" by the person in front lifting their armrest! OUCH.

Didn't even waste time looking to see what dribble was playing on the TV's on this flight!

It would be safe to say that if you are either broad shouldered or taller than 6ft (or both!) then before you book with Britannia ensure it's not a 767 aircraft you'll be travelling on!
