Home > AirTran Airways > ReviewTaken July 2003 from Kansas City MCI to Atlanta ATLOur 8:45pm flight was delayed 4 times, and was finally canceled at 1:00am because the pilots/crew were held on standby for too long. By the time we waited in the customer service line (at least 100 yards long of people) it was after 2:00am. There were no rental cars left at the airport and no motels. They were willing to give us a hotel voucher for a hotel that had no vacancies. We were placed on a flight 3 flights later (24 hours later) the following day at 8:45pm. That flight finally left at 10:30pm. All in all our flight was 26 hours late, and we had to sleep on the concrete floor at ATL airport. I will never fly AirTran again (they would not refund our tickets, despite the major inconvenience). | ||
