A few weeks before departure, we got a letter from Airtours, saying that our flight would now be on a Skyservice A330 rather than an Airtours one.

I did a bit of research on the internet, only to find out that this plane did not have the seatback TVs, which was a big factor that came into account when we chose Airtours. We also chose this flight (AIH061) because in the brochure we were told it was direct, but in this letter we were told it was to go via Bangor, Maine. We weren't too pleased, but there wasn't a lot we could do.

We got to Manchester, and checked in the separate Premiair gold queue. We realised that there was another Airtours flight leaving for Orlando-Sanford 20 minutes after our flight, which was actually an Airtours plane (with seatback TVs).

We got on the plane and the seats were HUGE, and really wide. We had the seats in the first row, so we had unlimited leg room (all for £199). The service was great, but the communal TVs didn't work AT ALL for either flight, neither did the radio.

We were delayed, on the plane, for 1 1/2 hours before we actually took off, but we made up the time in the flight and landed on time.

We could get free food and drinks whenever we wanted, and we got an Airtours comfort pack. Even the salt & pepper pots were little Airtours planes with holes in the top!

In the end, we were glad we chose this flight because the seats were much bigger than on Airtours planes. Anyway, who needs seatback TVs when you have your CD player? LOL
