Home > Flyjet > 2003 > ReviewTaken July 2003 from Manchester to CreteThe flight to Crete was changed to Excel at the last minute (and an excellent flight it was too). The flight back was a nightmare - the Flyjet plane broke down and Air Scandia stepped in. The flight should have been a night flight, but it was 6.30 (local time) before we took off. There were no blankets available and once airborne we were told that Flyjet had failed to supply meals or hot drinks for the flight. As a passenger requiring assistance, I accept that I am last off the plane, however on arrival my young son and I were forgotten about and sat on the plane for 50 minutes. We arrived at baggage reclaim (an hour after we landed) to find our fellow passengers still waiting - the baggage had been dumped next to the carousel and we had to wait another 15 minutes until another handling agent agreed to put the bags on the carousel. Was there anyone to complain to? Of course not. Have I been able to get an explanation or apology from Flyjet? Of course not. Do they care? Apparently not. Will I fly with them again (even though I never actually managed to fly with them this time)? Never. | ||
