Fascinating airline. Arrived on the plane to beautiful piped Korean style music, drowned out somewhat by a noisy generator. Although the plane was an old Tupolev 154, it was absolutely immaculate inside and out.

Service was quaint and friendly. Newspapers were delivered on some sort of canteen trolley, along with a choice of sweets and drinks, pre-poured into plastic cups, neatly in rows.

Food was a cold buffet, perfectly adequate and quite tasty.

The seats were not the most spacious, but for only 1 1/2 hours it's not really an issue. The flight was only a quarter full, so we could just push down the seats in front and had more room available.

Great experience though, would recommend it to anyone as a one off - and that goes for North Korea too.
