Tickets not particularly cheap (£240 return pp), but flew because of the convenience of the departure airport. Flight from Bristol left on time. Lavatories disgusting. When pointed out, Flight Attendant's helpful response was "Yes, they're always like that". Landing at Nice aborted at last minute, apparently for safety reasons (not clear that it was a safety issue - other aircraft were landing within a few minutes). Diverted to Marseille. On landing, no information at all. Pilot borrowed a cellphone from a passenger to call HQ to get instructions. They didn't return the call apparently. Bus eventually booked to take passengers to Nice; this would have got passengers to Nice around 6 hours late. Like many passengers, I hired a car at Marseille and made my own way. Trickier for those whose cars were at Nice, or who were being met. Return flight OK, but toilets still disgusting. | ||
