Home > AirTran Airways > ReviewTaken July 2003 from Newport News VA to Denver COOnly major problem was that Travelocity screwed up our reservation, but after having to purchase additional tickets at the airport, AirTran refunded those tickets less than 24 hours later without being asked for a refund. Atlanta airport itself is not a pleasant place, and it's getting that "old big airport" feel to it. Our flight from ATL to DEN was delayed by an airport equipment problem. But the flight itself was pleasant and comfortable. The seats on the 717, even in coach, are wider than any airline I've been on recently, and more comfortable. Those 717's are great to fly in. On the return flight out of Denver (beautiful airport, by the way) there was a slight computer glitch, but rather than fly a potentially unsafe airplane, they grounded the plane for 45 minutes to fix the problem. It appears that they're really trying to address the ValuJet image problem they inherited. Sure, it would be nice to be on time all the time, but I'd rather sit on the ground for 45 minutes than have a problem in-flight. | ||
