Taken August 2003 from London Gatwick to Paphos, Cyprus

I have rated the service marks so low due to the lack of efforts made by the handling agents at Gatwick. On the outbound flight we were sat on the plane with our luggage sitting next to the plane waiting to be loaded. Once this was loaded, there was no one to remove the steps from the side of the plane and then there was no one to 'push back' the plane. We eventually left over an hour and half late.

I would like the thank the Captain for keeping us informed throughout.

On the return trip, our luggage did not appear on the carousel for over an hour and then it came through piecemeal. On another of the carousels, 3 flights were cleared in the time we were waiting for ours to arrive.

This is a very new airline, but really it is Aviances' (the handling agent) job to get this sort of thing right, otherwise what is the airline paying for?

I will take this as a teething problem, which hopefully should be sorted out promptly.

Comfort - I actually had more leg room and seat width than I did on a Cathay Pacific flight (747-400) to Hong Kong earlier in the year...
