Home > Air Europa > ReviewTaken August 2003 from Southampton to Palma, MallorcaAt checkin, there were no queues and within minutes we had our boarding cards etc. We flew out on AEA126, on 9th August. The aircraft, a Boeing 737-400 (EC-HNB), was clean and very comfortable. I was sat in row 5, which had at least 31 inches of legroom. It was one of the roomiest aircraft I have ever flown on. As the aircraft was fairly old, there was no inflight entertainment. No duty free service was offered either. Shortly after take-off, the crew passed through the cabin with drinks, as we were travelling with Airtours Holiday Plus, our first drink was complimentary. Then the meal service came. It was a little box, which contained tuna sandwiches (don't even try them), a kit kat and a cup. The sandwiches were awful... The crew were kind and helpful, and spoke very good English. Well done for this leg of the journey Air Europa (see my post for the return...) | ||
