Home > Virgin Atlantic > 2003 > ReviewTaken August 2003 from London Gatwick to OrlandoVS015 G-VLIP "Hot Lips" This flight was much better than I expected - a huge improvement over the old 747-200s pre-2001. The inflight entertainment was much better than I expected, with a relatively large screen and a good movie selection. It was rather weird that Virgin showed a movie called "A view from the top", which was an airline comedy and I'm sure it scared some nervous flyers! The channel cycle system was a bit annoying, though, as were the controls being fixed into the armrest. The food (honey mustard chicken) was rather good - a full selection of 3 meals. 1 hour 30 minute delay at Gatwick because the ferry flight from Heathrow was late, but only 1 hour late arrival at Orlando. Even the toilets were quite nice - that's saying something! REAL wine glasses in economy class. Friendly cabin crew and plenty of captain announcements. Ice cream round was nice! Nice flight on a new plane. | ||
