Was pleasantly surprised on Philippine Airlines. The flight attendants were polite, warm and friendly, although some were a bit long in the tooth. Younger crew tended to work in the back of the plane, while the senior flight attendants were in front. Nice to see smiles all around.

The food was good. Filipino fare was better than the Western selections. Filipino mid flight snacks also a nice touch.

It was great seeing the flight attendants helping passengers store in the overhead lockers their carry on luggage. Try to see that on any US carrier nowadays.

Overall the flights were very nice and the landings on time. Mabuhay Philippine Airlines!
