Home > GB Airways > ReviewTaken August 2003 from Malaga to London HeathrowThis was my first flight with GB Airways and the airline gave me a very good impression. My outbound flight, as with many of my flights over the last 6 months, had been with EasyJet, and so it came as a bit of a culture shock when I arrived at the airport. Whilst there were only 2 desks open for the Economy class passengers and 1 for Club Europe/Exec Club, the queue moved incredibly slowly, but I was pleased to note that we received 10kgs extra luggage allowance and we had an assigned seat. Onboard all announcements were made in English and Spanish, and most of the crew were bilingual. Service took a long time, but the meal and free drinks on the reasonably short sector were appreciated and tasty. Landing was smooth and the flight attendant accidentally announced in Spanish we had arrived at "Londres/Gatwick" instead of "Londres/Heathrow", which bought some interested expressions to people's faces. All in all the crew were friendly, the service efficient, albeit slow, and there was plenty of room in the comfortable A320. Good job! | ||
