Taken August 2003 from Adelaide to Singapore

The flight was great! There were many comments about the Singapore Girl being snobbish and proud, but as I thought, they were far from it!! There were very sincere and eager to attend to my needs. They would say you are most welcome or yes sure! The service was marvelous, they would always keep a warm smile.

They were funny too. I was sitting at the last row and the male flight attendant said:'' hey you are gonna keep me company at the back!" and we broke out into laughter. They were constantly on the move, serving hot towels, collecting towels, serving preflight drinks and peanuts, collecting trash, make sure everyone was prepared to take off, giving out earphones, giving out amenities, serving meals, serving drinks, collecting trays, serving ice cream, and constantly pushing the cart, checking if the toiletries in the toilets are refilled etc...

Food was very delicious. I chose chicken fried with dried chilli on rice. I didn't know they dared to cook such spicy food!! It was great!! They constantly served chocolate bars and ice-cream.

The seat is another surprise. The plane was a 777. You can inflate and deflate the back, inflate and deflate the cushion you are seating on, have a cup holder which can be stowed down instead of stowing the entire table just for a drink, nets beside the PTV to put your trash.

The inflight entertainment was like a buffet table. Legally Blonde, X-men2, Down with Love and 17 other movies, interview with Gwyneth Paltrow etc... I could play, foward, rewind, pause etc!!

Landing and taking off was very smooth with the captain constantly updating us with the route and position.

Overall, SIA is a great way to fly!!
