Taken June 2003 from Cardiff CWL to Edinburgh EDI

Cheap return from Cardiff to Edinburgh. At £45 it was far cheaper than a return on the train, even with a young persons rail card (and far quicker - 55 minutes instead of 10 hours!).

The outbound flight was delayed by about half an hour, but a strong tail wind meant a forty-minute flight and so we only arrived in Edinburgh 10 minutes late. The return flight left 10 minutes late, but arrived in Cardiff on time.

The service was very good and not too expensive, although I do think over £1 is expensive for some hot water with a tea bag in! The cabin crew were extremely friendly and helpful, especially to an old lady in row 4 who needed help boarding & disembarking the aircraft.

The seat pitch was comfortable enough for such a short flight. Also, the allocated seats on board meant that there was not the usual rush for the gate that you get on other low cost airlines.

I will definitely be using bmibaby again. The only down side is that Cardiff airport is a horrible airport. I nearly got arrested for videoing my girlfriend outside the terminal building before our flight! Edinburgh is a far nicer airport to use.

Despite this, I had two great flights with bmibaby. Thanks & keep up the good work!
