Taken March 2003 from Milan Linate to Catania

I had never heard of Air One prior to booking, but felt that the fact that it was a partner of Lufthansa lent some credibility. I paid little and, therefore, expected little. This was due, mainly, to the fact that I am American and am accustomed to getting nothing on the American discount carriers.

To my surprise, the value with Air One was outstanding. The seats had ample leg room for economy. The staff were very cheerful and accommodating. The snack and beverage was a nice plus, in spite of the flight being so short.

My only real complaint was the fact that I could not get United points for having flown (I am not a Lufthansa Frequent Flyer member). For flights within Italy, Air One is a great price and value when compared to Alitalia!
