Arrived at Edinburgh to find the incoming flight delayed indefinitely due to a tyre problem at Las Palmas. A replacement A320 arrived from Manchester about 5 hours late, but we were kept informed.

Good legroom, attentive staff and a very smooth flight.

Excellent meal, one of the best I have tasted.

Coming home, flight was 30 minutes early in at Malaga due to tailwinds, but meant we were 30 late home.

Chaotic check-in Malaga, had no record of us, but we were allowed to board thank goodness.

Meal not up the outward standard, but otherwise good service, if a bit mechanical.

Would definitely use Monarch again.
