Taken October 2003 from London Gatwick to Chartlotte

The Airbus 333 was scruffy and dirty.

Lack of services we had expected with a transatlantic flight - we had to pay £3 for headphones, only two choices of meal (both awful - pasta doesn't survive the cook-chill process...), no amenity kit and no socks for our night flight home.

Flight attendants were very helpful and swiftly dealt with two passengers who had surreptitiously drunk a bottle of vodka.

We would rather have paid a bit extra for far superior service with another airline (V).
