Home > Air Jamaica > ReviewTaken October 2003 from New York JFK to GrenadaThis was my first trip with Air Jamaica. The flight was on a newer A320. First Class seats were quite roomy, if not a little stiff. A bit more recline would have been nice. Service marks are down because of poor catering. We were seated in row 3 and they had run out of the hot breakfast by the time our orders were taken. To the crew's credit, they did provide hot meals from coach, but only after some insistence from me. Also, the drinks cart was very limited and in fact about half empty upon departure. The had no bourbon or scotch, lots of gin and vodka, but no mixers. Had some similar problems on the return. They seem to need to get catering sorted out. Food was pretty poor for First Class as well. Small portions and poor quality desserts. On time marks are down for being over 45 minutes late in leaving JFK. However, this did give us the chance to watch Concorde on her final departure from JFK. She left right before us. Overall... a pretty good experience. Just wish there was another carrier offering non-stop service to Grenada from the US. | ||
