Home > AirTran Airways > ReviewTaken November 2003 from Dallas DFW to Orlando MCOAirtran is a low-cost, very basic airline. It is not as comfort or passenger oriented as some low cost airlines such as Southwest Airlines. Nevertheless, it delivers a basic transportation product at a very low cost. One advantage is that increasingly it is not necessary to fly through Atlanta to reach one's destination. Airtran is increasingly flying point-to-point. The flight I took, for example, was a new nonstop between DFW and MCO. Point to point flying really makes the Airtran a far greater value than when Airtran simply used a hub and spoke system where the hub was Atlanta. | ||
