Home > Northwest > 2003 > ReviewTaken October 2003 from Newark to Amsterdam2.5 hour delay at departure because one of the engines had broken down. While waiting, we were offered a drink and a bag of nuts, which came right from the plane, and weren't served to us anymore during the flight. Old DC-10. Cabin crew shows typical American mentality that flying is just as special as taking a bus. So no hello or smiles. 2 drinks on a transatlantic flight! They start serving meals at the front of the plane, so if you are seated in the rear part, there's no choice left any more and passengers in front have already finished and are having their coffee. Dinner was OK, but the breakfast was just a tiny cake and a can of orange juice. KLM and Northwest are code share partners and you pay the same price. On a similar KLM flight, however, you can expect at least 5 drinks, and a breakfast containing fresh fruit and warm bread rolls... On transatlantic flights, I recommend you take an European air company! | ||
