Home > Monarch > 2003 > ReviewTaken October 2003 from Manchester - MAN to Alicante - ALCThis was the first time I tried Monarch Scheduled on our trip to Spain. The first thing I noticed is that the scheduled planes are the planes in the new colours. Despite being very expensive, I was most impressed by the efficiency of the cabin crew on both flights making the aircraft on time. The seats were comfortable and there was some legroom on the Airbus A321. They were both less than a year old and it showed as they were immaculate. We were 35 minutes late going out on G-OZBE due to the late incoming flight from Malaga. However, we made up that time due to tailwinds and we arrived in Alicante on time. The way back was very impressive on G-OZBG, which is 6 months old, and again the plane was immaculate. The plane arrived 40 minutes early to pick us up to go back to Manchester. We took off 5 minutes late due to waiting for a GO/Easyjet plane to land. However we made up 25 minutes to land back in Manchester 20 minutes ahead of schedule. | ||
