Taken April 2003 from Grenada - GND to Philadelphia, PA - PHL

My flight out of Grenada departed very much on time. In fact we began push back a few minutes before schedule departure time. We took off and began our 4 1/2 hour flight to Philadelphia. I upgraded to F/C and found the cabin to be quite nice. The A319 is a very comfortable aircraft.

My only suggestion would have been to have leg rests for the seats in the F/C Cabin. The crew were very friendly. They were older women, and they have been doing this for quite a few years and tended to our needs in the F/C section very attentively. I looked back and noticed that the economy passengers were having a good time as all.

US Airways need to consider the following to ensure that they remain a carrier of choice.

1. Service hot meals in economy. For a 4 1/2 hour flight either in the morning or evening, a sandwich or bagel is not acceptable.

2. Need to get back the audio entertainment. I helps on such a long flight. In fact on AA I usually read a book and listen to the music provided.

Overall US is a good airline and I would recommend it to anyone.. I hope they continue to improve.
