Taken November 2003 from New York - John F. Kennedy, NY - JFK to Cairo - CAI
I travel frequently to Egypt and now will not take any other airline. Why? Egyptair is much roomier than the others, the food is decent (hey, when was the last time that you had anything that you would describe as good food on an airline?), the flight attendants helpful, and, most important, it is a direct, nonstop flight. You save at least 3-4 hours over any other flight and that means a lot when you arrive in 11 hours vs. 14-16 hours plus there is no danger of hitting bad weather in connecting airports. Since flight 990, I think that many Americans in particular have been unnecessarily concerned about flying Egyptair -- in my opinion, this is an error in judgement since Egyptair has a good track record. |
