Taken December 2003 from Cancun - CUN to Havana - HAV

The flight from Havana to Cancun was interesting. We made an unlisted stop in Cozumel to go through customs before arriving in Cancun. This made the flight rather late, but punctuality wasn't a big concern of mine at that point.

The most interesting part of the flight was the pilot. He flew the plane as though it were a fighter jet. He practically fishtailed the plane om the tarmac while turning it to get into take-off position. Once in the air, he banked the plane quickly and sharply, and I swear he did some extra curves for good measure. He would cut the engines so suddenly that the plane jolted when he did so. In other words, this was not the most passenger (or stomach) friendly flight. However, I thought it was pretty fun. I think he knew exactly what he was doing.

I would fly this airline again, if only for lack of other (safe) options.
