Taken August 2003 from Paris, Charles de Gaulle - CDG to Dublin - DUB

I have flown Air France Cityjet numerous times. I agree with other comments about the shabby aircraft interiors (BAE 146-200). I am really looking forward to some new aircraft for this airline.

Cabin crews are usually "quite" friendly (generally of Irish or French nationality) and food not bad and free.

Now, my last flight with them was awful. Delayed about 4 hours in CDG. Little info until we boarded, yet CDG ground staff were very friendly. Delay due to sever fog in Dublin (typical, while the rest of Europe was experiencing one of the hottest/sunniest summers ever!). Anyway, quick take off, while boarding pilot told us to take our seats "very quickly" as due to fog in DUB we needed to leave ASAP. Got to Dublin (area), circled for about an hour and a half, made one attempt to land, anyway, this old BAE 146 didn't have the equipment to land in the fog (apparently all flights on Airbus aircraft and most Boeing were getting into DUB no probs). Diverted to Shannon/ Kept inside airplane for a further hours... no info. Spent night in terminal, finally decided to take train from Limerick to Dub following morning. 24 hour journey, no apology or refund from the airline!
