Taken October 2003 from Bahrain - BAH to London, Heathrow - LHR

The quick flight (25 minutes from Bahrain to Doha with 'Mexican wrap' and drink served (!) was followed by the customary punctuality, despite the crowded procedures in the ever-upgrading Doha airport.

Once again delightful service-only topped when you are flying Qatar Airways with a family and not alone. The international cabin crew are gems. A fellow traveling partner even gave a pair of earrings to one of the FAs he was saving for an unknowing wife, and I confess to having given touristy tokens myself to what really are the best FAs I have witnessed.

Food getting better (best of all Middle East airlines) and generous portions. Wines OK.

Highly recommended and recommendable airline. I am getting used to some of the accents emanating from the flight deck, and take offs and landings seem smoother all the time (may be my imagination).

As they are expanding their flights, hope to see them flying to Eastern Europe soon.
