I flew with Ethiopian Airline recently from Washington D.C. to Addis Ababa. Punctual flight, the food is attractive and appetizing. I watched movies, even slept for a while. The flight crew are highly professional, very friendly and pleasant. Ethiopian is the finest airline in Africa. Ethiopian made a concerted effort to make everyone happy. Drinks are served many times. A choice of fresh orange juice, tea, coffee, wine and whiskey are all on the menu. The flight attendants are turned out in dark green suits, and one of them invariably wears traditional Ethiopian costume. All speak good English as well as Amharic. The aircraft is a brand new Boeing 767-300 ER, the animated characters in the highly professional bilingual security video is a delight to watch. The plane arrived in Addis Ababa 15 minutes early. I recommend Ethiopian to everyone flying the inter African route. |
