Home > US Airways > 2003 > ReviewTaken December 2003 from London, Gatwick - LGW to Charlotte, NC - CLTHaving faced Chapter 11 after The World Trade Center disaster caused people to lose faith in air travel, the future looked bleak for US Airways. They beavered away and came out the other end sleeker and I would assume more cost effective. OK so no free alcohol on transatlantic flights and you now have to pay $5 for headphones, which makes this more along the lines of a charter flight, but things are generally better. The cabin staff are older than on most airlines and tend towards a more relaxing service. Once or twice they have even laughed at my poor jokes. The choice of movies is adequate and having flown on more expensive airlines where you have the shared screen, the personal player is fine. | ||
