Taken January 2004 from Montreal - Dorval - YUL to Santiago De Cuba

JetsGo flight 824 from Montreal-Trudeau to Santiago de Cuba on January 16th 2004 (Estimated time of departure 21:50):

We were late 40 minutes leaving Montreal. A 40 minute delay is not a big deal, but knowing the aircraft arrived at the gate at least 3 hours before we left... Hummm... It does not sound right.

After we pushed back, the aircraft had to be deiced. We were lucky the flight was 40 minutes shorter than expected. We got to Santiago de Cuba on time.

The seats were very comfortable with lots of leg room (former Korean Airlines MD83). The on-board service was OK. A good cold meal (chicken breast, pasta salad, bread and dessert) was served by young, friendly and professional cabin attendants. Water, milk, coffee and tea were free during the meal service. Everything else or anything you order after or before the meal service is chargeable.

JetsGo flight 825 from Santiago de Cuba to Montreal-Trudeau on January 24th 2004 (Estimated time of departure 03:10):

We were 10 minutes late leaving Santiago. We got row 34, the last row. The seats did not recline because of the bulkhead. The flight was not full. The staff at the counter could have avoided assigning row 34.

This time the cabin attendants looked young... but how unprofessional also! The two girls who were working the back cabin only had eyes for two young guys in row 30. They spent the entire flight with them. They even forgot to serve breakfast to a passenger sitting in row 34... Me! I finally got my breakfast after I pushed the call button three times!!!

Once I was finally served my breakfast tray (Danish pastry, croissant, jam, butter, fruit cup and yogurt... very good cold breakfast by the way) I asked for an orange juice. Guess what! Again I had to use the call button. The two flight attendants were too busy socializing at row 30!

Yes, I will fly JetsGo again... no problem. But please JetsGo, get some more mature flight attendants and avoid assigning row 34 when the flights are not full. The outbound flight from Montreal was great... But the inbound flight... What a mess it was!
