Have to say I was impressed with Easyjet, but Luton Airport need to sort out their shuttle buses. We waited an age in the car park, returning took even longer, then the bus was full leaving passengers behind. Having read reviews of Easyjet it seems that they, like everyone else are not perfect so this is only my opinion of this flight. Check in staff were pleasent and competent with enough desks open to keep waiting down to a minimum. Boarding was by check in arrival time and is a good system. If you want the best seat get there first, if you want to grumble get there late. The 737 -700 was spotless, seats comfortable and pitch more than enough for a two hour flight. I didn't try the recline to see if it was locked, but it seemed that everyone kept their seats upright, which always makes for a more pleasent flight. Take off was on time and arrival a few minuets early both ways. The big plus on both flights was the attitude of the cabin crew. They did the job as good as was possible with a mix of humor and professionalism, two drinks runs and collection of rubbish plus the selling of what was once called duty free goods. When they weren't doing this they were chatting to passengers and making everybody feel at home. Drinks prices were not too bad and as they reduce the ticket price why do people complain. I flew with American Airlines two weeks ago as a full ticket passenger and there drinks prices were very much the same for a much worse service. My Easyjet flight was almost faultless so I give them very high marks, the only improvement could be the company dress. Why do they make all their staff look like tyre fitters. Give them a proper airline uniform, they deserve one. Oh, the price £45 return including taxes :-) ) | ||
