Home > Northwest > 1999 > ReviewTaken April 1999 from Tokyo - TYO to Singapore, Changi - SINI bought a ticket from Tokyo to Singapore. I turned up at the Northwest desk at Narita 40 minites before take off and I had no luggage with me. The flight was then delayed and took off over 30 minutes late. But they would not let me on and they wanted to charge me $2,500 to change the flight to the next day when the flight had only cost $150 or so. I had to go back into Tokyo and buy a new flight for the following day. It was on Northwest and cost $150 or so from a travel agent. I made it this time onto the flight, but was so disgruntled by the service I had received the day before that I did not enjoy the flight and have made a point of never flying this airline again. Northwest were within their rights as it was the outward flight that I missed. But I have missed outward flights on Cathay, BA and some lesser airlines and have never been treated so badly or asked to pay such an outrageoous amount. | ||
