Taken March 2004 from Paris, Orly - ORY to Geneva - GVA

ORY-GVA March 1st - GVA-ORY March 2nd:

While Easyjet undoubtly tries to deliver a good product, the value of its competitiveness greatly varies according to a number of factors and there now are hints that it is not equally beneficial to all:

Anybody who books early enough to book these 8 to 25 Euros one way fares AND who manages to board in time to grab an aisle or emergency exit seat reaps unbelievable value that can be matched by no competitor, especially when the occasional craving for a drink or a snack is fulfilled by reasonable catering at acceptable prices.

Being stuck in a middle seat after paying 150 Euros is not a good deal, and the so called full service competing airlines on the route now offer better value and service.

In addition, and this is a new unwelcome frequent occurence, delays of two hours and more increasingly happen without warning for reasons unrelated to air traffic or weather, but to difficulties in crew scheduling and insufficient rest periods, with very poor information provided, as was the case for the outbound flight.

Easyjet is growing. Too fast? Time will tell, but the airline better beware and put its act together when this happens.
