Taken February 2004 from London, Heathrow - LHR to Male - MLE

We changed aircraft in Dubai in both directions, very smooth and efficient and some great shops to wonder around. We chose Emirates as we had heard of their reputation and that they had won many awards for their customer service etc. We were very disappointed. All 4 sectors the service was consistantly bad. The crew were pleasant enough, but it seemed to take them so long to do anything! Heathrow/Dubai it was 2 hours before we had anything to drink, the meal service took another 2 hours to reach us, we gave up on the coffee! Their IFE has a channel about well being... drink plenty of water, it would have been nice to have been ofered some!!!The food was good when we got it, but couldn't tell you how the coffee tasted!!! The other sectors were similar. Leg room on the 777 was good, but very cramped on Airbus A330.
