Taken July 2003 from Glasgow - GLA to Larnaca - LCA

I had heard about the transition from Airtours to My Travel and on past experiences with Airtours (our flight was delayed and the cabin door would not shut) I was expecting a reasonable flight.

The check-in at Glasgow was very slow. After this we got something to eat and then I realised our flight was being called. Check-in had hardly even finished and so I went to the gate.

I then discovered that lots of people had already boarded and to my astonishment I boarded. We then sat on the airplane for 40 minutes before taxi-ing.

Thankfully this time the doors did shut!! A fast safety briefing led to take-off. One annoying thing was the pilot he kept on stating Gatwick istead of Glasgow, I am just thankful of his flight plan...

The cabin crew were friendly and included everyone in their announcements.

When our meal arrived it was the incorrect thing we were unable to gain the attention of the crew and so we just ate it. No point in crying over spilt milk.

The flight continued and we then entered base leg of the landing procedure. Then our holiday began.
