Home > Aer Lingus > 2003 > ReviewTaken December 2003 from Dublin - DUB to Barcelona - BCNI flew to Barcelona with AerLingus last December. First of all I was unlucky enough to be allocated the very last seat in the aircraft, which had enough leg room for a vertically challenged leprechaun, but fair enough, somebody has to go there. My seat and seat belt were broken, so I attempted to bring this to the attention of cabin crew by pressing the overhead button, fast forward to the end of the flight and nobody had responded. Secondly and again, not the fault of the airline, I had the misfortune to be seated behind a Spanish family with two children under the age of 3, who not only screamed and shouted for the duration of the flight, but crawled under chairs (when the seat belt signal was on) jumped on seats and generally acted like children enclosed in cramped quarters. The cabin crew were no where to be seen at any time except for the dishing out of tea/coffee (no snacks were available even though it was a 7am flight and not many would have eaten breakfast). Overall a pretty nasty flying experience. Iberia operated the return flight, and the difference was huge, complimentary tea/coffee/snack & pleasant cabin crew who couldn't do enough. | ||
