Flying AeroContinente is not a wholly unpleasant experience, but the actual process of getting on one of their flights is. We had problems coming and going from Peru with major last minute schedule changes and overbooking. Also the flight to Lima was supposed to stop in Guayaquil, Ecuador, and didn't. Never figured that one out. Service and comfort were fine, but undistinguished, and wasn't able to make up for the disorganization and poor customer service. There are much better alternatives for travel to Latin America.
