Taken March 2004 from Duesseldorf - DUS to Denpasar/Bali - DPS

DUS to FRA and back with Lufthansa, OK-

FRA-BKK-DPS-BKK-FRA with Thai, OK.

Pax in business well treated, some steward/esses more kind than others, but quiet well, and food better than in SingaporeAir, but worse than in Emirates or Malaysian.

Big space, but old seats (nothing to compare with Singapore) and very poor entertainment.

BKK-DPS:

three hours of delay they announced me one day before, but -seemed to be so- not to the other passengers; then a joke: on departing, at the gate: sandwiches and a coke or water. I was asking to myself if this would be our inflight-food, but, on calling to embark, and asking the ground-staff, they gave the snack they had to do because of the delay. Do you give a snack on depart, having a supper, later, or do you give it and hour before? We refused and had a good curry later.

DPS-BKK:

even a 777 was anounced, then an A330, is was the oldest and not refurbished A300 called "Ayuthaya", former captital of Thailand. I was asking myself if the aircraft was as old as the Kingdom of Thailand.

BKK-AP:

Twice, BKK to DPS, and BKK to DUS, by bus.
